Welcome Cello Players! 


 My name Mea  aka, Mea the Creative Cellist 


I'm a professional cellist and coach.  I specialize in helping adult cellists reach their full technical and musical potential through the power of research-based mind & body methods.


I studied cello performance at the University of Toronto with internationally acclaimed cellists Shauna Rolston, Winona Zelenka & Simon Fryer.  I have also  attended masterclasses with world-famous musicians  including Yo-Yo Ma and members of the St Lawrence String Quartet.


Classical music was only the beginning for me! 


In the past 20 years as a performer and recording artist,  I have explored  multiple genres from folk to pop to modern art music. My skills as an improvising musician have helped me win awards for creative song-writing and cello composition


From performer to coach....


In my programs, cellists  explore what it means to be a complete musician exploring music of multiple genres &  developing musical skills in a supportive cello community
